Who we are

The READY Collective is a movement dedicated to preparing the next generation—not just to play sports, but to thrive in life through sport. We believe true readiness is often missing in today’s youth sports, where competition is prioritized over preparation. Real readiness means resilience, confidence, and balance across mind, body, and energy. Developing that readiness requires intentional preparation, especially in today’s world, where young people can no longer rely on unstructured play and endless hours of activity to become “accidentally athletic.”

Our founders bring experience from preparing athletes for five Olympic Games, leading holistic NCAA athlete development programs, and guiding high-performance sports globally. They have taken the best practices proven on the world stage and made them simple, personal, and practical for athletes, families, and coaches everywhere.

We exist because too many young people are burning out, dropping out, or missing out on the opportunities sport can provide. By shifting the focus from winning today to preparing for tomorrow, we give every child the chance to grow with strength, confidence, and purpose.

Our Ready First Mobile Application — R1 Mobile — goes beyond delivering content. It allows you to assess a child’s movement competency, self-efficacy, and daily habits in nutrition, sleep, and hydration, while also providing programs, guidance, and habit-building tools that support holistic development—for performance today and lifelong health and wellness in the future.

  • Kids build movement skills, confidence, and healthy habits.

  • Parents understand their child’s needs and can support them at home with encouragement, structure programs, and guidance from experts that ensures readiness.

  • Coaches gain valuable insights into designing training that matches each child’s unique capabilities and capacities — ensuring the right challenge at the right time.

At the heart of R1 is our unique development system, which simplifies complex science into practical tools and guidance that meet kids where they are. It empowers parents to give better support, helps coaches be more effective, and prepares young people to step into sport—and life—ready to thrive.
